We’re using Cisco WebEx for on-line meetings. For this I used to have a WebEx Toolbar in Outlook to directly schedule on-line meetings from within Outlook.
With one click from the Home tab, you can start a meeting in your Personal Room or join someone else’s. Was the default leader in virtual meetings. Things got markedly better. The tool had broad integration with scheduling tools like Outlook. This issue has been fixed in Outlook 2016 for Mac (Version 16.12). A new preference has been added to count unread delegate mailbox emails. Go to Outlook Preferences > Notifications & Sounds. To get the latest update, open Outlook for Mac, go to the Help > Check for Updates menu, and follow the instructions in the AutoUpdate app.
Converting recordings to MP4 format The WebEx Network Recording Player does not support converting recordings to MP4 format on Mac systems. Linux Webcam video available in view-only mode Users starting or joining a meeting on Linux are not able to share their webcam video; they are only able to see the current speaker video, if it is being shared. Latest update to outlook mac 2015 insider preview stops the popup window for a new message, reply or forward. All other areas fine except mail. Only workaround was to delete, and manually remove outlook files from library etc.
However, I no longer see this WebEx Toolbar nor does it show as a Ribbon tab in Outlook 2010.
How can I make the WebEx integration available in Outlook again?
Assuming that you have installed the “WebEx Productivity Tools” already (see further below if you haven’t), common reasons for the WebEx buttons not being available in Outlook is that the add-in is either disabled in Outlook or in the Cisco WebEx One-Click client itself.
Also, check your installed version of the client if your are using Outlook 2010.

Before checking if the add-in is enabled in Outlook, you’ll first have to check if Outlook integration has actually been enabled in the WebEx One-Click client;
Without Outlook being enabled in the WebEx Settings, the WebEx add-in will not be available in Outlook. Grammarly For Outlook On MacEnable WebEx Productivity Tools add-in
If the WebEx Toolbar or Ribbon buttons still do not show, you must enable the add-in in Outlook in the usual way.
WebEx Productivity Tools is listed as a COM Add-in.
In case the add-in got disabled because of a crash, then it could also be listed under Disabled Items. You’ll find this option in the Add-ins section of Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 or under Help-> About Microsoft Office Outlook-> Disabled Items… in Outlook 2003. If it is listed here, select it and click on Enable.
If it is not listed there either, click the “Add…” button in the COM Add-Ins dialog and point it to the following location;

Once you have re-enabled the add-in, restart Outlook to get your Ribbon buttons or Toolbar back. In Outlook 2010, the options will be shown on the Home tab.
The WebEx icons will show next to the New option group on the Ribbon or at the end when you select your Calendar folder. If WebEx Productivity Tools is not installed…
If WebEx isn’t installed yet, you must download and install the application from your corporate WebEx website (ask your administrator if you do not know the URL).
For a default website layout of WebEx, you can find the link for the installer by going to;
The Productivity Tools can be downloaded from your company’s WebEx Portal website. The Productivity Tools offers more than Outlook integration. Outlook 2010 support
Outlook 2010 32-bit support was added to WebEx Productivity Tools 27.21.5 and 64-bit support was added in version 27.23.
A way to check the version number is by either looking at the file version of the aforementioned
ptolkadd.dll file or by going to the Downloads section of Message Center, where the build number is shown in the “About Meeting Center” box at the top right.
Check the file properties of ptoldadd.dll to check the version… …or check it on your WebEx website (versions don’t have to match). Gotomeeting Add-in For Outlook On Mac
Paying users of WebEx's remote desktop service now have the added bonus of Mac support. The service has been upgraded to be cross-platform in time for next week's Macworld Expo and throws in a couple other goodies like a remote Webcam viewer (so you can spy on your home computer from the office and visa versa), and a guest pass system that lets you send someone a one-time coupon to use your computer from wherever they are.
Using Outlook On Mac
It's kind of surprising it's taken WebEx this long to get a Mac version of its remote client service together, but with Mac's marketshare climbing past 7 percent last month (according to Net Applications), it's clear bigger companies are starting to pay attention to the pleas of Mac users. As a start, WebEx released an iPhone-compatible version of the PCNow service in late August of last year that included mobile file access, and integration with Skype and Outlook. Similar services like LogMeInand the Java-based RealVNC have been offering cross-platform services for quite some time now, although competitor Citrix seems content to rest on its laurels with a still PC-only version of its GoToMyPC service.
WebEx's PCNow retains its starting rate at about $13 a month for one computer, which goes all the way to $60 for 10 machines. There's also a 30-day free trial if you want to give it a spin. Personally I think casual users who only need a remote desktop service to grab the occasional file, or get a lengthly download started are probably better off with LogMeIn Free, which Rafe and I both use on our home machines with great success.
